BENGALURU, July 30, 2024 – Mark your calendars for August 3rd and 4th, as the Bengaluru Poetry Festival (BPF) returns for its 8th edition at the Grand Mercure Bengaluru, Gopalan Mall, Old Madras Road. Organized by Atta Galatta, this year’s festival promises a vibrant mix of poetry performances, musical explorations, thought-provoking discussions, and interactive workshops, all with free entry.

A Celebration of Poetry and More

Festival Director Shinie Antony captures the essence of the event, “Poetry goes on when nothing else does. It is our only weapon against mortality. Long after we are gone, the hard truths that came howling out of our hearts in the middle of the night will remain. Bengaluru Poetry Festival is coming with song and strange new rhapsodies, with magic poems, shock poems, and poems that whisper tenderly. Verse is flying at you.”
